woowoo im back!!!

Cant believe it !! No PC for weeks and this morning i asked Sean to connect it up and SURPRISE!!!! It sprung to life!!  Sean  thinks its a port at the back of my PC has broken,he'd plugged the Internet cable into the second one and it worked!!Something as simple as that!!  I'm hoping so !!

This is Toffee....one of our babies that is going to my friend Leah...i cant believe how big they are and there only three weeks old!!! Its been lovely watching them grow and develop such fun!!!

Heres another sweet little boy this is fat Eric my sisters dog all dressed for Christmas in the outfit Sean sent  for him,,,he doesn't look very pleased i just had to share!!

 with my beautiful girl who's been so sick...first a bug, then sickness then fluid on her lungs and today another trip to check  that her lungs were clearing and to  get anti sickness pills  as her anti bio tics are so strong there upsetting  her tummy...thank you every one who's sent there love and best wishes hopefully she will be on her way to recovery!!!  shes desperate to get back to collage ...

nights spent watching TV till the early hours and sleeping down stairs where its cosy and warm with my girl!!i  was hoping for a  good start to the New Year!!!  But at least i can get onto the Internet  to update my blog, it makes me feel closer to my family who apart from my children and there partners all live in Tyneside...I'm so glad to be back xxx

 My beautiful flame haired Rosa has dyed her hair back to its natural colour, I'm so pleased!
Apart from the expense of buying crazy colours every few weeks it had taken a toll on her beautiful hair,So no more  red towels no more red  chairs and doors!! Ive promised to get her extensions for her birthday!!Bribery!!!

This is Amelia Earhart....Rosa's baby bunny named because it has markings like  a pair of flight goggles!! named by Rosa of course...its funny as Effie has let me handle her babies from the day she had them...There so cute and are changing every day...and  Effie just eats her supper not bothering!!

Rosa woke last night  feeling terrible I'm afraid she has one of those awful  virus,s

So it was nocturnal visits to top her up with painkillers and drinks poor thing!!

This little girl still hasn't had a bath ....come on Sean get a move on son!!!

I was so pleased to find this massive container in a charity shop for a few pounds...perfect for my chapati flour!!

My lot love chapatis they eat them with every thing and there really healthy as long as you don't use gee no fat no sugar so i make them ofton...my lovely friend Additii  taught me to make them along with salmon curry .....

Babies...baths and hairy men!!!

I'm so grateful that my daughter is letting me use her laptop but i so want my old fashioned PC back!!i want my mouse and chunky keyboard i want Delbert back!!Yes hes called Delbert!! After a conversation with my eldest son and Daughter in law last week they both recon that my PC can be fixed!!I need a new Internet card so  I'm on a mission to find some one who can help!

Its day  4 for our baby rabbits and Effie is doing so well and is such a good mum.....They all ready have fur and  we can see the beautiful markings  that they have...There growing fast!!

 I'm hoping my friend Leah sees these as shes having two babies!!!

 My son Sean bought me this fantastic book..Me and the hubby have watched the new series with baited breath! Now my husband hates diets but he was transfixed  every time an episode of the hairy bikers came on TV.So much so that he agreed ed to try the  actual diet plan!! The recipes are amazing, full of real food  which has so much flavour that even my fussy husband and son  like them....i love the hairy bikers  ,not  just because I'm a Geordie!!!

Today i noticed that this dog ...smells!!!Honestly butter wouldn't melt in the mouth dog!!She  so needs a bath! So Sean has drawn the short straw and he has the job!! Penny loves the bath  and has been known to do a dive bomb  into the bathroom door when anyone  having a soak...flinging  the door open and  ending  up in  the warm bubbles with unsuspecting bather!! We have no lock on our bathroom a throw back from when Rosa kept locking herself in...in fact  she loved to lock herself in anywhere.I remember the sinking feeling when i heard the  front lock being turned as i saw hubby out to work!!! I screamed as he  slowly went around the corner on his way to work!!luckily he heard me and screeched to a stop!!She was three year old and we looked through the window to see her flat out on the sofa watching Dora the Explorer...refusing to open the door!!My neighbour David  lent us a crowbar and we had to break into the back window!!! What a memory!!!

Today I'm a very proud mama, after 13 years of struggling with acrophobia my son has decided its time to find some kind of voluntary work...a massive breakthrough so hopefully hes on his way to  having some kind of normality in his life.Well done son!!Its been a struggle for years  but I'm hoping hes turned a corner!!Its his and Rachel's eight month anniversary on Friday, they celebrate every month their together...so sweet!! so their off in a taxi to a restaurant for a romantic meal!!!

Tonight there was a beautiful red sky that i had  to rush out and photograph!!

Back in the house to sit surrounded by my family to watch Big brother Yes were sad!!   and now I'm off to bed to dream of a new PC!!!

BABIES!!!!What a suprise!!!

A few month ago we took in some young bunnies from a very good friend who was looking for a home for them...what a joy they have been !!Their  always in the house  for cuddles and soon became part of the family. I realised as soon as we got them they were male and female!!!A quick talk to the vet and he advised  we got Boris Snuffles neutered within the month!!!He is booked in for next  Saturday....but to late was the cry!!I couldn't believe it!! Myself my sisters   and two friends formed Wallsend Cat Protection in the eighties and spent years developing a nurturing programme..trapping and spaying Ferrel's,vouchers for  spaying family pets fostering, my job was to bottle feed the orphans a very  rewarding job but so hard. Myself and my friend Jackie worked in the local vets...that's why  when i picked Effie up for a cuddle a few days ago i got that sinking feeling!!NOOO!!!How could  this happen...i should have got Boris  sorted sooner  but with Christmas...etc  i just didn't!!Alls well that ends well and  lovely Rachel and her mum THANK YOU GIRLS! lent us a huge indoor hutch...Effie produced  four healthy babies and with the help of a very good friend THANK YOU  Leah { a real rabbit expert}everything OK!!I have homes for all of them all ready and the stress!!It made me reilise that all though i  am very knowledgeable  when it comes to animals as i spent a lot of time working with them i knew nothing about bunnies!!!

 Leah is  having two as she lost some of her beloved bunnies not so long ago so i know they will be going to an excellent home , my friend  is also having one for her little boy another excellent home...and yes were keeping one!!!Sorry mam!!heehee...the moral of this story...DON'T put off neutering your pets!!i feel so guilty after years of preaching  but its such an important  thing to do!!!

happy New Year to all  my friends and family and everyone that follows me...i  know a lot of you haven't joined my site  and that is  OK...all. though  i always  get reminded via e mail when i don't blog! .I don't know about anyone else but I'm so pleased to see the back of this awful year....Sean spent New Year with his  girlfriend and their family...so it w as a quiet  time for us .Rosa was our first foot and we went into the street to welcome in the new year at midnight and  give the neighbours who were out a cuddle!!

  

       We watched the stunning lanterns  floating through the night sky carrying wishes and  thoughts of loved ones  far far away....so beautiful and rather touching....... We made resolutions and plans  for the coming year

Shouted greetings to one another!!!  and toasted each others health...Then back into the warmth!!

So  once again Happy New Year everyone  and a big Hello to my cousin Janets  daughter Holly who has  e mailed me !!  My pc is broken so im on Rosas laptop which is on its way  out as  rosa has dropped it!!! I managed to read  my e mails from my phone  tonight!! Im so happy to hear from her and  i will answer your mail soon Holly xxx   hoping to blog soon xxx
