I think I'm addicted to blogging!!I'm not surprised!! Ive recorded so many event in my life through visual diary's ,scrapbooks and photos. My dear friend Irene Reddish who is a talented photographer and artist  started me on my path to documenting my life. In the 80s many moons ago!!.I worked at an art centre  running a children's art  workshop and i ran the local photography club back in the days when there was no digital and everything was  done in the darkroom....happy days.!I have hundreds of negatives and photos which become so important  as life starts to pass by, memory's of baby's , children growing up, dear family that are no longer here.But its also a burden, storing and keeping album after album Making sure negatives are  OK!. So blogging  has become my  new creative way of keeping a record of events and every day life!Boring as it may be to others I'm addicted!!!

Hello my name is Pippylongstockings  ,Pip for short or sometimes my mum calls me the Pipster! I'm beautiful don't you think??

Sometimes my mum Dimpley  don't know why they call her that!!!Takes me to her favourite shop Suzicraft. Its full of  mostly women that become hysterical over silly things like pens, and stamps!!!Don't know what all the fuss is about,,,Its not as if you can eat them!!. Talking of eating theres a  man there that's always feeding me biscuits, in fact he feeds me so many  the humans in the shop call me biscuit! Very strange!!

 They fall for it every time!Especially  the man!!Everyone spoils me so its great. Today  Susan  gave me a ball!!



Up and down i ran , i looked so beautiful!I got a bit overexcited and ripped the ball up!!What fun!!! I was so tired  my mum gave me a cuddle  shes so well trained!!!

                         





Everthing was going fab until the human called Kay  had the cheek to let her dogs out of the car!!! I was so put out this is my shop!!!!





It was too much for such a beautiful delicate me,  i just lay  down and had a snooze zzzzzzzzzzzzz because im soooo beautiful and everyone at Suzicraft loves me!!!

Some of my art work! I'm rather shy about anyone seeing my work the bottom one is a work in progress!!Its quite a big canvas  .I don't have a lot of time to paint and craft with various things mostly  housework and cooking ,dog walking the list is endless. Id love to be able to do a decent card without getting glue all over or my matting and layering being so rubbish ...i adore messing about with paints  but my very favourite thing to do is collage. I love anything vintage !  Its so lovely meeting people with the same taste  like Sam and Joan swapping ideas and tips. I love my crafting and it helps  with all the stresses of life, just to lock yourself away with stamps  ,paints and glue!!!

Amazing stamps

I tried out my amazing stamps that i bought yesterday from Suzicraft,there from the creative expressions  range! I love them  so much! I really like clocks at the minute and usually ink them  with  the Tim Holtz  inks. But i  coloured them in with my spectrum pens. You will have to excuse  my worn chair  but with teenagers and dog everything i have is a bit battered!! I really love the ticket stamp and will use them for all sorts. I'm not really a card  person and am more into altered art and atcs but ive been attending some card classes and am really enjoying them!

 This is my first attempt  using  spectrum pens and  ive only made a few  cards so I'm really pleased with it. Some of our customers are so talented. A big thank you to everyone who sent birthday wishes to Rosa and gifts.Tom and Sue have just left and shes so pleased with her gift set of Wok and various Chinese dishes and sauses!! No doubt shell be cooking Chinese food for her and Kelsey at the weekend she loves cooking and is a good help in the kitchen....

ITS EARTH DAY!

The Earth Day 2012 campaign is designed to provide people with the opportunity to unite their voices in a call for a sustainable future and direct them towards quantifiable outcomes.

 The most noticeable thing to me over my 50 odd years is how the weather has changed. I remember as a girl summer was a real summer a  hot and sticky affair  , sun shining right through the summer holidays and winter was always  freezing!! Cold with snow around about the time its supposed to snow!! Whats happened!!  The change is so apparent to me....Warm winters  freezing cold summers!!The weather has gone haywire!! Our poor Earth , why don't people realise that earth is a living organic thing!! when we harm it we reap the  consequences! it makes me sad.........


A big Happy Birthday to Rosa, she had a lovely time yesterday with Kelsey...Today her grandad visited with a card and money and her Aunt Noreen called too, with card and money....Shes been so spoilt  ,We gave her a little gift this morning , a DVD  with  three musicals , The king and i, south Pacific and Oklahoma!! Which she loved.It will help her to with her Performing arts course!!A trip to  her hair dresser Hailey  to have her hair done and that's  all her birthday treats from us!! So HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABYxxxx

I went into my craft room last night  to make Rosa's Birthday card...i had a brilliant time playing with my new stamps and colouring them in with my  spectrum pens!Well i suppose i should go and make a Sunday lunch i really cant be bothered  I'm so tired.....I need to bath  the dog and trim her as shes filthy again after  digging up my lettuce in the back yard and  getting into the bin!!!Shes actually covered in curry yuk!!! Was  hoping to persuade Sean to bath her but i can hear him and hubby laughing and screaming in the front room, apparently their playing American football!! Might just sneak off for a nap they probably wont miss me till their really hungry!!!
