a good day!

Thank goodness its been a good day, our prayers were answered and our meeting went fantastic which is so  not the norm.I put this down to Sean's new nurse Tania,  so thank you . We went  by ourselves for a well earned coffee

the sun blazed down as we walked around town for once i feel elated! Like so many people  we are finding life a struggle though i don't like to dwell on negative things on my blog , i like my blog to reflect our happy times though   its a fact of life at the moment that some  people not just us are having a bit of  a negative time what with the recession  and cuts in services, so to feel good  about something so near to our heart was amazing!!

I'm from Newcastle  which i think is the most stunning city in  the UK not that I'm biased of course, but i do like Stockton town hall i think its a lovely building and the baskets of flowers  are so pretty. Theres a lot of things in the main high street which i love

Like this

and i think this is fantastic though i cant see a date on it!
i always think of Greys Monument in my home town when i pass this ...
our favourite coffee house where i had a treat today a lovely hot chocolate!!
Stockton council always have amazing flowers on show all over the place

The George Hardwick  is a fantastic resource if you are a carer the shop is in Welington square and everyone is made welcome with all sorts of advice  and help , what a stressful day but it turned out ok in the end!

nerves and a visit from my sisxx

Today I'm nervous....today we  are having a meeting  a culmination of 13 years of fighting for  the correct help for my son .........today is a huge day an overwhelming day and that's before its even started. My son is  challenging and difficult  ,add this to  sweet, loving and loyal. We love him very much  and it makes me angry, at the way he is treat. Were not the only family by far  who have this problem its right across the board. We have had the  pleasure to work with  a lot of good  people in the caring community  and a lot who shouldn't be working with vulnerable people.....please say a little prayer for us....

This is my beautiful sister!!She called in early for a quick visit  to see us before going to see mum in law. My sister moved back to Tyne side last year  and i miss her so much!

Sean and his auntie Jax.....he insisted i put this one!!!look at the face!!

My nieces beautiful daughter i so love her, she spent the whole visit drawing and  took a load of  arty things home with her!!

Jax is on his holidays as his mam and dad are in Mexico.....hes living with  my lovely neighbour jenny for a few weeks

CHAT ,and TV fun

Today was  a beautiful day and i spent some quality time with my son Sean

We got a bus today instead of a taxi,Sean doesn't like buses or crowds and  suffers from an anxiety based agoraphobia so today he was a little nervous waiting for a bus  but he done it....well done Sean  He wants people to know how hard it is to cope with certain disorders even though you may look fine on the outside  everyday life can be an enormous struggle. I'm so proud of my son and the things he has achieved in the last  year.

We called into CHAT a drop in cafe in Stockton. This is a brilliant place to eat and also a fantastic resource for anyone who needs advice or support for so many things.

Today we only had a cup of tea

Sean has a fantastic sense of humour and makes me laugh......he was not impressed with the new table cloths!!

This is the little gift we bought  Patrick

He loves hot sauces.......................................

We bumped into a very good friend who is working at CHAT as a support worker and had a bit of a catch up then off to the music shop for Sean's  guitar strings!

Your always made welcome at CHAT  weather its for advice or just a cuppa and its open to the general public, they also do courses and have  closed night time sessions  they have an excellent art class run by the lovely Dianne ........ so don't forget to call in and support the great work they do with our community!!

What an exciting week, we watched the Olympic games every day

and sat down together as a family to watch the amazing closing ceremony

We were glued to the TV !!

It was spectacular viewing!

with this and the final of big Brother...YES were big fans in our house  we had a fun week of TV  treats!! Tonight we were glued to Celebrity Big Brother  oh we are sad!!!
